This is probably my favorite POV-Ray render. I didn’t fully understand what I was doing, but I had been playing around with isosurfaces and an equation I had come up with: $$ f(x,y,z)=\sqrt{(Ay-B\sin(Fx+P))^2+(Az-B\cos(Fx+P))^2} $$ POV-Ray scene

Vaguely Celtic Metalwork
This was based on similar equations as the Spiral Isosurface image, and likewise all geometry here was done completely as isosurfaces. POV-Ray scene is here; this was probably one of my more time-consuming renders.
